Team Tankers International Ltd. tar over Eitzen Chemical ASA med ABG Sundal Collier Norge ASA som rådgiver. I forbindelse med den transaksjonen ønsker Team Tankers å hente penger. Minimumstegning er 12.500 og maksimum 25.000. Det tilbys en retailrabatt på 1.500. Tilbudsperioden varer frem til 28.02.2015 kl.06.
Eitzen Chemical ASA har slitt lenge i konkurranse med bl.a Stolt-Nielsen og Odfjell innenfor kjemikaliefrakt og spesialprodukter innenfor olje. De har en eldre flåte enn de nevnte konkurrenten, noe som slår ut i høyere driftskostnader. På toppen av det hadde de tidligere høyere finanskostnader, noe som har gitt tap både for aksjonærer og kreditorer. Nå sattses det på nytt. Den underliggende driften fremstår lik, finanssiden er endret.

Following the Exchange Offer, the Company will become the ultimate parent of
the Group, and will continue the business currently carried out by Eitzen Chemical
ASA.
As of the
date of this Document, the Group's fleet consists of 47 chemical tankers ranging
from 3,500 dwt to 46,000 dwt. Cargo segregations vary from 12 to 30, and the
fleet consists of both coated and stainless steel vessels. Of the owned and
leased fleet at the date of this Document, 27 were coated and 20 were stainless
steel. The Group ranks amongst the 10 largest chemical tanker operators in the
world, based on number of vessels in its fleet and average vessel size measured
in dwt. With an average fleet age of less than ten years, the Group operates a
young and modern chemical tanker fleet. Of the vessels operated by the Eitzen
Chemical, 32 are currently owned through subsidiaries in Bermuda and Singapore.
15 vessels are chartered in on time charter or bareboat contracts, most of them
with purchase options. The vessels which are chartered in are classified as
financial (6) or operating (9) leases in Eitzen Chemical's financial
statements.
